Having worked in various roles including director of project management, director of software development, software developer, trainer, and scientist, he has a broad view of project management. Dr. Sanghera has several industry certifications, including PMP, CAPM, Project+, Network+, Linux+, SCJP, and SCBCD, and has contributed to building the world-class technologies such as Netscape Communicator and Novell s NDS. As an engineering manager, he has been at the ground floor of several startups and has been a lecturer at San Jose State University and Brooks College. Excellent Study Resource

I used this study guide as well as an online course offered by PMI, and I successfully passed my CAPM exam last week. This study guide offers great tips that are relevant specifically to the CAPM exam and each chapter has a very useful summary of the areas to comprehend, watch out for, and memorize. There are also periodic review checkpoints and chapter review questions. These checkpoints help highlight areas you may need to improve your comprehension of.
I read this book and completed the study guides within 3 weeks and I took the test on the last day. The more anecdotal writing style of the book makes it easier to retain the information. Also, the book provides many real world examples and situational questions/scenarios. While the CAPM exam questions are entirely based on memorization of the processes, knowledge areas, etc. the examples and scenarios outlined in this book made it easy to remember the details covered in the exam. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone studying for the CAPM exam.

Just awesome, As a now Certified CAPM I have to admit this book help me to clearly understand each chapter and pass my exam with a better overview of the Project Management world as I had in the past. Comparing with other resources this book is more studying oriented and more focused on the tips and key points that we must have clearly in mind, I cant wait for it to be upgraded to the fifth edition so I can buy it again.
