Compared to my Giancoli Physics book, this book is an easy read. McMurry and Fay do a great job at making the book approachable and understandable to students.

Alright...

Its an alright book. Good amount of details in explaining things. However it seems like some of the questions at the end of each chapters aren't explained in the book, which lowers its rating. The older version (6th edition) seems better in my opinion.

Pretty much the same as hardcover version.

The page numbers were a little different and the book did not come with an access code to mastering chemistry. For the cost compared to the hard cover version, it def. is worth it.
