Una (buenisima) historia real

Una buenisima historia que nos lleva desde el Uruguay de los '20 hasta el Paris de los '50, siguiendole los pasos a Enrique Amorim, el supuesto amante de Lorca y "groupie" original de las artistas de la vanguardia de la epoca.
Muy bien hecho Roncagliolo!

This faux-biographer is no García Lorca fan.

Este libro interesa principalmente por referencia a momentos histórico-culturales, pero Santiago Roncagliolo se refiere a García Lorca con un dejo de desprecio y una evidente intención de tumbar al ídolo del pedestal. No sabemos, por su descripción, si sus alegatos están verdaderamente fundados en un hechos innegables o en deducciones y sospechas. Se ampara principalmente en observaciones subjetivas y obviamente tendenciosas de gente que no estaban impresionados con García Lorca para describir las actividades de éste en Buenos Aires: lo mejor que dicen del poeta es que era arrogante, egocéntrico y vago. Luego toma aseveraciones sin fundamento ni prueba como realidad: por ejemplo, que Entrique Amorim haya dicho que tenía enterrados en Salto los restos de García Lorca no representan evidencia contundente de nada.
En las primeras 20 páginas del texto, Roncagliolo afirma que no hay versión completa de la obra dramática surrealista de García Lorca, "El público". Esta obra tuvo su estreno mundial en abril del 1978 en el Teatro de la Universidad de Puerto Rico, promovida por mi amigo el doctor Juan Antonio Rodríguez Pagán. La obra se presentó tan completa como el texto en que se basó.
Una vez leí esa referencia incorrecta de Roncagliolo, se me aniquiló la presunción de veracidad del resto del libro.
